Needless to say,
everything is prepared from scratch, but you
have to see, smell and sample the difference to
become a true Abalone believer. Start with a
light course of mussels, a seafood crepe, or a
small pizza topped with gourmet goodies such as
fresh clams or sautéed chicken and asparagus.
Then it's on to a main course of veal, a
half-rack of grilled lamb, or Abalone's
impossibly good pasta tossed with cream and
fresh smoked salmon. To bring out the subtle
flavors of the food, special wines are available
by the glass so that diners can try a new
pairing with every course. Open seven days a
week, the atmosphere is stylishly casual, with a
comfy mix of tables and booths. Abalone also
offers delivery and catering services for groups
and special events.
